Not sure if the Flat Fall jigs are thru wired or not, but if your hooks are on the bottom ring (opposite of where you tie on) your putting a lot of pressure on that thin standard ring which IMO is truly a WEAK SPOT when fishing for 200-300lb+ BFT in deeper water where they tend to pull harder using current and their girth in sideways motions to their full advantage
