The SHK-1 Full Brim Vented is compliant with ANSI/ISEA Z89.1-2014 (R2019) Type I & Type II, Class C. Type II compliance covers impacts from the top, front, side, and rear — a higher standard than Type I, which covers top impacts only. Class C means the helmet is not electrically rated; it is built for environments where electrical hazards are not a primary concern.
