1936 Rhode Island Silver Commemorative Half Dollar - Brilliant Uncirculated Fr. 1957-D* Dated from 1908 to 1929Struck at all three mints in 1936 the Rhode Island commemorative half was issued for the 300th anniversary of the founding of Providence. The obverse shows Roger Williams in a canoe being welcomed by a native American. The reverse has the "Anchor of Hope" with a shield in the background.
